Learning to drive with a disability...

Grant available to help with the cost of learning to drive
Did you know that if you receive a higher rate mobility allowance, you can learn to drive at 16!

All you need to do is apply for your provisional license 3 months before your 16th birthday.

You may also be entitled to receive a grant to help with the cost of learning to drive!

If you are an existing Motability Scheme customer, additional charitable support may be available for up to 40 hours of tuition. To qualify for help you must be a current customer of the Scheme and hold a valid provisional licence.

If funding is granted you must complete your tuition within 12 months.

Unfortunately assistance with the cost of the theory and practical test is not offered.

For more information on applying for help please contact the Motability Customer Services Team on 0300 456 4566
